Let’s dive in!

Why Should You Write A Book?

Maybe your dream is to write books.

Maybe you want to claim the badge of being “an author.”

Maybe you want to write a book to scale & share your insights.

There are lots of different reasons why people are motivated to write books—and all of them are correct. Writing a book is hard work! Which means you need to be emotionally connected to a “reason” to go through all that effort.

Over the past 10 years, I have written 10+ non-fiction books.

I self-published my first book in 2016. It was a memoir called Confessions of a Teenage Gamer.

I wrote that book out of pure love for the craft. I started it in college, where I was studying creative fiction writing, and I wanted to pick a project where I could apply all my new storytelling skills. I spent 4 years writing that book. Did it make me very much money? No (maybe $10,000 total over the past decade).
